Your contributions give hope to hopeless and helpless people in some of the darkest, most dangerous, and most critically needy places in the world
WE CAN REACH THEM BY ACTING TOGETHER!
As soon as the 2025 New Year bells stopped ringing, Conscience International teams were in the air, flying off to Central America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, delivering aid to some of the most disregarded people in the world who are suffering in the midst of new wars, emergency medical situations, and desperate cries for income producing skills and educational opportunities. Our support will help lift them out of poverty, but they need your help! Find the cause that warms your heart. Please help us help them.

NIGER AND CAMEROON—Conscience International, under Program Coordinator Baker Hill, wrapped up 2024 by providing scholarships to eight young people living in a war zone in Cameroon as well as school fees for 50 blind/or deaf children in the town of Bemenda. We also gave direct and in-person relief help to people existing in bush areas, where they fled to escape the fighting. In the first quarter of 2025, we are adding team support for a widows’ ministry in three countries—Niger, Burkina Faso, and Benin-- with a goat-raising project that provides income to widows who would otherwise be destitute.

GUATEMALA AND EL SALVADOR— Our continuing program in this region, under the direction of our Latin America Director, Dr. Jurguen Kiehnle, addresses the critical educational and healthcare needs for underprivileged populations, building on our long-standing commitment to serve vulnerable communities through sustainable development and humanitarian efforts. This includes scholarships for low income students and free medical/surgical procedures conducted in difficult to reach rural areas by our volunteer doctors and other healthcare professionals.

BANGLADESH— This ongoing school program for children of poor families, under the leadership of SE Asia Program Director, Richard Sarker, began in 2011 when Conscience International built the first ever school building for the village of Shambhuganj. The school has grown from 80 students to 260 students today, with some of the first students now moving on to college— an opportunity none would have ever imagined possible a decade ago. In addition, we have supported community programs for widows and young women by giving goats to raise and by teaching sewing skills these women are turning into revenue for their survival.
CONGO— Conscience International’s Medical Director, Dr. Gail Anderson Jr., in partnership with Heal Africa Hospital, has established the first ever Emergency Medicine training center at the hospital in Goma—and just in time. On January 27, 2025, M-23 rebels captured the city, putting the emergency team on full war alert. Reports say 1,000 people were killed and many more wounded. Doctors and nurses we helped train last year to handle emergencies are now treating injured victims on the emergency room floor. Your support for this program, especially now, is critical.

VIETNAM— Conscience International has been working with the Cu Chi Church in Ho Chi Minh City since 2012, supporting several projects, including funding to help build three Care Centers for children in the mountains of Kon Tum. Ninety children are in need of support that can be supplied at only $80 per child per year.
