When wars and natural disasters, pandemics, terrorists and poverty rob the minds of the ‘least of these,’ who they become in the future will impact the world, including you. Young people in global hotspots served by Conscience International are growing up in one or more of these circumstances.
For many, natural disasters and pandemics have closed their schools, or education has been purposely denied by their extremist governments. For some, poverty prevents admittance. Still others are hindered due to language barriers when war forces children to flee their homeland and cross into nations whose speech is not their own.
In fewer than twelve years children who are hurting now will be adults, making life decisions based on what they have—or have not—been taught and experienced. With education and direction many will be trained to reach their hopeful goals; without education and direction some, particularly in unstable countries, could be trained for terrorist activities. Conscience International chooses to educate children for peace and potential.
