In Cameroon: When war comes to a country, who schools the ‘Special Needs’ kids?

When French-speaking separatists declared war on the English-speaking region of Cameroon, school children scattered to the jungles, desperately seeking safety.

Displaced school children who fled the war in Cameroon

Conscience International helped in the support of a make-shift school for them, but there was no accommodation or teachers for students with learning disabilities, including the deaf and the blind. A few have been displaced to Belo, but basic educational materials are limited as are qualified teachers. They need hearing aids, braille machines, text books, sign language books in English—and teachers, many of whom also fled for their lives. The least of these need your help. Will you?
