Rescued, educated, and in training for life-skills— Conscience International and our partner Mi Especial Tesoro (My Special Treasure) are sponsoring 241 five to 15-year-old children who were born, abandoned, or orphaned, and lived, worked and played in the fetid garbage dumps of Guatemala City.

Each day they awaited the next dumpster truck to forage for food and items to sell, competing with rats and vultures. Too many children still live in the squalid, diseased environment. Many are trafficked, attacked, molested. Help us give more children hope.
