THIS IS ISABELLA

… and you helped save her life!

This happy eight -year-old is originally from Honduras, from where, sadly, she had to flee with her mother from the gangs of human traffickers who target young women and children.

The list of dangers and disasters In Honduras was growing longer by the day-- poverty, violence, crime, poor health care, poor education, lack of clean water and food, unemployment, and so much more, with traffickers constituting the most egregious danger.

Isabella’s mother was determined her daughter would not become one of the victims of these criminals, nor would she.  In 2020, without money, help, contacts, a place to stay, or knowing what to do once they got there, Isabella and her mother crossed the border alone to Guatemala—fleeing gang atrocities.

Once in Guatemala, the two were aided by Conscience International, provided with food and essentials—and Isabella was sent to school.

In 2021, Conscience International teams built a new house for them in Taxisco, one of 14 houses Conscience International helped construct through the generous and compassionate support of people like you.

Now, Isabella and her mother have the opportunity to live a more normal life that includes things that we take for granted, such as education and a place they can call home.

Conscience International’s Latin America team is constantly alert for those who need help the most—people who are unable to help themselves; but you can.  Please consider a tax-deductible donation in any amount so we can continue to give women and children like this a chance to improve their lives, free from such brazen threats.
