More Homes for Volcano Victims in GUATEMALA

Out of the ashes of the Fuego Volcano eruption in San Miguel de Los Lotes in 2018, where so many families lost homes and loved ones, Conscience International has been steadily replacing displaced families (pictured) to new homes and renewed hope in Taxisco, far from volcanos.

Emergency Response Director Kenny Phillips scouted out land to buy, handled legal matters and started the building process that includes, to date, 12 new homes, a community center—Pila Comunitaria (pictured), and a chicken pen. Sanitation facilities, electricity, and purified water are next. CI Program Director for Latin America, Dr. Jurguen Kiehnle, oversees the continuing project at no cost to families. More families are waiting for homes. They need your help.
